Facing the energy crunch

The biggest problem that we are facing today is the energy crisis. The traditional sources of energy will deplete after some time, moreover, there are many side-effects of the traditional sources of energy. For our future it is must that we switch over to renewable sources of energy. The sources of energy are plenty and we can use them to our benefit. The green energy sources are plenty and can be used by everyone without depleting them. We can use them for thousands of years. These energy resources are used to power our homes, offices, industries and the vehicles, etc.

The biomass energy resource is one important energy source. The use of biological material for the production of fuel is a major source of energy. The biological materials that we can use for producing green energy are corn, wood, switch grass, sugarcane and algae. At present, biomass produces approximately 13% to 15% of all energy consumed in the world. It also includes corn, sugarcane and other sources to produce fuels for vehicles, to make fuels that power the vehicles. This source of energy will reduce the effects of global warming that is there in the world and also reduce the price of energy.

Hydropower is a source of energy that uses water to make energy. This source of energy contributes to almost 5% of the total energy needs of the world. It uses the gravity of the falling water to produce energy. Dams and turbines are used to produce energy through this energy source. Solar power is also source of energy that can be used where sunlight is in abundance. It captures the solar power in solar panels and then uses it to make energy. It is a popular source of energy as it does not need much cost to install it. The cost of installing solar energy resource is subsidized by the many governments to encourage use of solar energy.
